Africana Spirituality Dinner Series: Spirituality, Movement, and Creative Practice |
On Monday, February 26, at 5–6:30 p.m. at the Interfaith Center, join Jenny Oliver, Head of Dance Performance, for dinner and a conversation about creative practice and the humanity that she brings to it. As a movement practitioner, her work and studies have taken her to places such as Brazil and Haiti focusing on the deep connections of dance and ritual.

How can we navigate the challenges posed by the "tyranny of historical present"? In the presence of gross atrocities and pervasive polarization, how do we foster caring relationships? What steps can we take to envision flourishing futures for everyone? Join the Humanist Chaplaincy on Tuesday, February 27, at 5–6:30 p.m. at the Interfaith Center to explore the themes of trauma, repair, and re-worlding as we seek meaningful insights together.

Tufts Republicans Event with MassGOP Chairwoman Amy Carnevale |
Tufts Republicans are honored to be joined by Amy Carnevale, Chairwoman of the Massachusetts Republican Party (MassGOP), along with Republican State Committeeman Timothy Smyth, on Wednesday, February 28, at 8 p.m. to talk about Chairwoman Carnevale's efforts to rebuild the MassGOP and how young voters are crucial in that endeavor.

Environmental Studies is honored to host the New York Times bestseller Nature's Best Hope author Doug Tallamy on Thursday, January 29, at 12 noon as part of the Hoch Cunningham Environmental Lecture Series. He will talk about the concept of Homegrown National Park, a national challenge to create diverse ecosystems in our communities. All of our speakers are in person. This talk will be livestreamed and recorded. This talk is co-sponsored by the Biology department.

Tufts 2024 Sustainability Networking Night |
On Thursday, February 29, at 6 p.m. at 51 Winthrop Street, join the Career Center, the Office of Sustainability, and the Department of Environmental Studies for a unique opportunity for Tufts students to meet professionals from a wide variety of organizations whose mission and projects/programs focus on sustainability in environmental, social, and economic realms. We'll have a panel of industry experts followed by networking with more than a dozen organizations.

| WASH in Low-Income Countries and in Emergencies with Dr. Lantagne |
Safe and drinkable water for all is an environmental justice issue. As part of Tufts Global Month, join the Sustainable CORE fellows and Tufts Health Equity to learn from Dr. Lantagne's research on WASH systems and her experience of more than 30 years on the topic. The event will be held in Olin Center Room 002 at 1–2 p.m. Pizza will be provided, first come, first served!

The Finance Career Forum on Saturday, March 2, at 12 noon–2 p.m. in the Cummings Center First Floor Ballrooms is a one-day event for all Tufts students interested in careers in the financial services industry. You'll have an opportunity to network with Tufts alumni, and companies represented include J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Macquarie Group, Barclays Capital, Oppenheimer & Co., and more. Mental Health Reps (MHRs) are paid peer health educators who work with Counseling and Mental Health Service (CMHS) and the student body to promote mental health and wellbeing. You'll learn about mental health, get to lead mental health programming and outreach, meet new people, and earn a stipend. 🧠 Applications are due March 11 at 10 a.m.

Represent your club at the Jumbo Days Community Fairs. The Community Fairs are large student club fairs on the Academic Quad at 2:30–3:30 p.m. on April 5, 12, and 26. Club representatives are expected to table for the hour. Meet admitted students and families while sharing information about your club!

SHAPE pre-orientation is an opportunity to welcome incoming students into the Tufts community as part of a real world "think tank" working with local government and our neighbors to shape policy implementation in our host community. We invite all civically minded, politically curious, and creative students to this experience, where you will facilitate student interactions with elected officials, neighbors, and Tufts alumni doing related work!
