Georgia Tech Human Resources will host “Faces of Tech” on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The event is an opportunity to showcase Georgia Tech’s unique voices and perspectives, and you can still sign up.
Faces of Tech includes time for networking, professional headshots, and brief interviews that are intended to tell the story of Georgia Tech’s exceptional employees, who come from various backgrounds and industries. | Performance Evaluation Deadlines and Prep |
A new year is an opportunity to start fresh and set new goals. It’s also the beginning of the performance evaluation season at Georgia Tech, and the perfect time to reflect on 2024 achievements, review completed projects, and document your accomplishments before annual evaluations.
The best way to prepare for annual evaluations is by completing a self-assessment, and exploring the resources Performance Management @Tech has to offer.
Log in to PM @Tech through the “HR Services” tile in ServiceNow to review and assess your goals or add accomplishments to discuss with your supervisor.

Staff Award Nominations Open Now |
Nominations for the annual Institute Staff Awards are open through Sunday, Feb. 16. The awards recognize staff for outstanding achievements over and beyond their regular job duties, and nominees represent Georgia Tech’s core values and vision for the future. All faculty and staff, regardless of job function, are eligible and encouraged to submit a nomination.

Biannual Compliance Training Launching Soon |
Biannual Compliance Training opens for all Georgia Tech employees Feb. 3. The 2025 Spring Biannual Compliance Training is intended to help Georgia Tech employees understand and uphold the University System of Georgia’s (USG) and the Institute’s policies and compliance obligations.
All faculty, staff, and students who are active employees as of Jan. 1, 2025, will be required to complete the 2025 Spring Biannual Compliance Training by 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, Feb. 28. The training will be available at b.gatech.edu/genius and will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
The four–part training includes:

- Part 1: 2025 Spring Biannual Compliance Training – Identifying and Responding to Sexual Misconduct
- Part 2: 2025 Spring Biannual Compliance Training – Social Engineering Red Flags
- Part 3: 2025 Spring Biannual Compliance Training – Generative AI: Seeing Through the Deception
- Part 4: 2025 Spring Biannual Compliance Training – Insider Threats for End Users

The training is mandated by the USG for all employees. Training can be completed on a desktop or laptop and does not need to be finished at one time. To learn more about the Institute's compliance campaigns, click the button below.
