In the past 75 years, many great scientists, engineers, and industrial philosophers have worked to test and perfect various strategies and methods to guide manufacturing organizations to intentional, incremental improvements throughout the product and life cycle. Enhancing value, improving quality, and employee engagement are three key areas where Continuous Improvement helps manufacturers reach new levels of excellence.

Do you feel dazzled and awed by the great potential of Artificial Intelligence aka AI? Perhaps hesitant or lost when words like ‘convolution,’ ‘deep learning,’ or ‘autoencoder’ are thrown around? Well, fear not, a new blog from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) is the first in a multi-part series aimed at helping manufacturers practically evaluate each step of investing in and using an AI-enhanced system or tool in an industrial application.

Impact Dakota has expanded and launched the North Dakota Supply Chain Connectivity Program. 

This is a national initiative from NIST MEP (Manufacturing Extension Partnership) designed to significantly help North Dakota Manufacturers link together to build local and regional suppliers and potentially customers and thereby strengthen North Dakota manufacturing.
