COVID-19 Resources for UCSB Researchers

NSF Major Research Instrumentation Campus Announcement

Please note the campus limited submission announcement for the NSF Major Research Instrumentation program was sent to campus August 11th.

Deadlines:

Campus Letter of Intent: September 8, 2020 (required)
Campus Pre-proposal: September 28, 2020 (required)
Full Proposal Deadline: January 19, 2021

The full campus process is outlined on the Competition Space website.

Temporary Extension of Eligibility for the NIH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award During COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, NIH will be providing up to a two-receipt cycle extension (roughly eight additional months) of eligibility for prospective applicants meeting the requirements for submission of a K99/R00 application from the June/July 2020 due dates through the February/March 2021 due dates.

Limited Submission programs restrict the number of applications, nominations, or proposals that an institution is eligible to submit to an agency. Take advantage of UCSB's subscription to Pivot, a comprehensive funding opportunities database that features customized funding searches, funding opportunity tracking, deadline alerts, and more. COS Pivot is available to faculty, staff and students. Access is available via a campus network, or sign up for an account for off-campus access.
