Hello Students,
I have been receiving a number of emails asking: What happens if I miss my on-campus testing appointment?
So, I wanted to reach out and send a note today about that as well as some other important testing information. Here is some of the stuff I want to cover today:
- What if I miss on-campus testing?
- I am a residential student...when is my initial testing?
- I am a non-residential student...when is my initial testing?
- I don’t know if I am residential, non-residential, or remote...how do I figure that out?
- What day of the week will I have my weekly asymptomatic testing?
- What will MyChart notifications look like?
- How do I access MyChart?
What if I miss on-campus test?
If you miss your weekly test, then you should report to the testing site as soon as possible to be tested. The site will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. If you miss your weekly test and the testing site is no longer open, then you will be required to email covidcare@rhodes.edu immediately for further instructions. You may be required to return home to your permanent address and complete your semester coursework remotely.
I am a residential student...when is my initial testing?
You should have already received information from Residence Life about your move-in block time, which will also serve as your testing time. When you arrive on campus, you will proceed directly to the BCLC to be tested. Review the Testing Chart for Jan 19-24 for a summary that you may find helpful.
I am a Non-Residential Student...when is my initial testing?
Non-residential students will be required to report for testing Monday, Jan 25th or Tuesday, Jan 26th. You may have already received information from MyChart about your testing time. Please review the Testing Chart for Jan 25-26 to determine when you should report. You should report for testing per your assigned MyChart time. If you cannot attend at that time, please report anytime between 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday or Tuesday. When you arrive on campus, you will proceed directly to the BCLC to be tested.
I don’t know if I am residential, non-residential, or remote...how do I figure that out?
What day of the week will I have my weekly asymptomatic testing?
All residential and non-residential students will be required to be asymptomatic testing weekly. Please review the Testing Chart for Feb 1-3 to determine what day you should report for testing. The testing date you are assigned will be your day of the week moving forward. My Chart will send you an assigned testing time on your assigned day. If you cannot attend at that time, please report anytime between 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. If you have questions, please email the Student Life team at studentlife@rhodes.edu.
As an example, my last name is Weyant and so I will be assigned to testing every Tuesday.I have signed up for MyChart so I received a notification and email with an assigned testing time. My assigned time is 12:00 p.m. You can see an example of the notification below.
