This event showcases hundreds of student organizations and is a great introduction to getting involved on campus! Watch the Fall Welcome site for more event information as well as university on-boarding information.

MSU Student Affairs and Services

Student Affairs and Services (SAS) is focused on providing opportunities for students’ personal growth in and beyond the classroom through partnerships to promote maximum student learning, student development, and student success through programming, activities and engagement opportunities.

Residence Halls Association (RHA)
RHA is the on-campus student government at MSU and cultivates leaders within the residence halls, represents the residents of MSU objectively, protects the rights of residents and provides a voice for their concerns. RHS offers many opportunities to get involved such as hall government and identity caucus groups, neighborhood and campus events, and more. Visit rha.msu.edu or follow @msurha for info!

University Activities Board (UAB)
UAB plans campus events for students, by students to enhance the Spartan experience at MSU. Some events include open mic nights, craft nights and featured programs such as UFest, concerts, euchre tournaments and more! Check out uabevents.com or follow @UABatMSU for more info.

Registered Student Organizations (RSOs)
MSU has more than 900 RSOs. RSOs cover a wide range of topics and interest areas, including but not limited to academic, business, environmental, international, political, racial/ethnic, religious, women’s interests, and sports and leisure. Learn more by visiting the Department of Student Life website.

Another helpful website is Involve@State — a centrally located resource for RSOs to create groups/organizations for members, post news and information, share organizational documents, and share events.
On-Campus Employment
Working on campus can provide so many opportunities! We’re looking for passionate Spartans to join our team. We value the unique perspectives, beliefs and experiences of our student employees. We are a stronger organization when our differences and similarities are celebrated, and we are committed to creating a culture of belonging.

Whether you are interested in making connections, growing your career, chasing your passion, or just picking up a few skills along the way, we want to help you get a real start. Apply today at jobs.rhs.msu.edu.
Affinity Groups and Support Departments
We believe in maintaining a positive, supportive living environment in the residence halls and apartments. At MSU, you have a home here regardless of your background or social identities. Check out the many affinity groups supported on campus on our website and learn how you can get involved.
Rec Sports and Fitness Services
Cardio fitness rooms can be found in each neighborhood and are available to residents at no additional cost. Check out locations here

Additionally, Recreational Sports and Fitness Services (RSFS) offers three indoor intramural facilities on campus, aquatic programs, IM sports, and more! Learn more on the Rec Sports website.
Move-In Webinars

Live On is hosting NSO move-in webinars in August! These sessions will review this year's move-in process and serve as a helpful resource for some of the more common questions you may have surrounding move-in, dining and your first weeks on campus.
