Know Before U Go (KBUG): Race and Ethnicity Abroad with Tufts Global Education |
Join Division of Student Diversity and Inclusion (DSDI) and Tufts Global Education on Monday, April 22, at 5:30–6:30 p.m. at the DSDI Hub in Tisch Library for a dialogue about race and ethnicity and how they factor into the education abroad experience. Food will be provided!

| Library Food Drive and Food for Fines! |
Tisch Libraries will host a food drive April 23–May 10. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to bring donations to the main desk of Tisch or the SMFA Library. Students may use donations to pay down fines on their library account at the rate of $5 deducted per item. Donations may be used to pay down overdue AND lost fines for items from Tisch, ILL, SMFA, and Lilly libraries. There is no limit to how much can be paid down with donations. Join us on Tuesday, April 23, for a special screening of Inundation District at The Somerville Theatre. This film explores how one city ignored climate threats and spent billions building a new waterfront district—at sea level, on landfill, and in the bullseye of rising seas. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the film begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Q&A with director David Abel and Tufts climate scientist Professor Andrew Kemp.

| Know Before U Go (KBUG): Budgets, Bookings, and Basic Travel Tips |
Students studying abroad in academic year 2024–2025 or who are interested in studying abroad are invited to join the Tufts Global Education staff on Wednesday, April 24, at 12 noon–1 p.m. via Zoom to learn about how to budget for your semester or year abroad. Tips for booking flights and air travel will also be covered.

Schwarzman Scholars Information Session |
Join us on Thursday, April 25, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in Dowling Hall Room 730A with Tufts alumnus Jason Rathman, A17, who will speak about the Schwarzman Scholars, an unparalleled graduate program designed to ready the next generation of leaders to drive change. It is anchored in a fully funded 10-month master's degree in Global Affairs at Beijing's Tsinghua University. The experience encompasses unique opportunities in and outside the classroom.

The famous Cookie Monstah food truck is coming to campus this Thursday, April 25, at 12 noon–2 p.m. At Get the Scoop on Philanthropy, Tufts Student Giving (TSG) thanks student donors with a free sweet treat; just show your invitation email. Not a donor? You can make a donation at the event! Where do you want to show your support on campus? Athletics, financial aid, April Giving groups? Supporting Indigenous-Led Sustainable Wildlife Management |
On Thursday, April 25, at 12 noon, Environmental Studies is bringing Dr, David Wilkie from the Wildlife Conservation Society for the last Hoch Cunningham Environmental Lecture of the semester. Dr. Wilke has over 40 years of experience working with indigenous people and local communities. All of our speakers are in person. This talk will be livestreamed and recorded.

| Open Mic Night and Class Album Release Party with Dee-1 |
This semester, Dee-1, artist and scholar in residence at Tisch College for Civic Life, has been teaching a course entitled "Hip Hop and Social Action." At this Open Mic Night, co-hosted by Dee-1 and the Interfaith Ambassador Team on Thursday, April 25, at 6 p.m. at Goddard Chapel, come and hear the fruits of students' labors as they perform their original music created in this class.

Third Annual APIDA Arts and Crafts Festival |
Are you ready for the Asian American Center's signature APIDA Heritage Month event? We will be hosting our Third Annual APIDA Arts and Crafts Festival on Friday, April 26, at 1–6 p.m. at the center! Close to 20 student artists will be selling their original work, including handmade ceramics, stickers, art prints, jewelry, apparel, and more. ALL ARE WELCOME to come support our artists! Guests will receive a snack or prize after making their way around the different areas of the center.

First-years and sophomores, check your email for a link to the annual experience survey. A reminder was emailed to you last Wednesday morning. Completing the survey means you will be entered in a raffle for $25 JumboCash or Rhino Bucks. Results from previous years have led to many important changes that have improved the undergraduate student experience at Tufts. Take the survey and make your voice heard today!

| Volunteer Opportunity: Tufts Cherish Chinatown Spring Cleanup |
The annual Cherish Chinatown Spring Cleanup is on Wednesday, May 1, at 12:30–3:30 p.m. Kicking off from the Jaharis Courtyard, Tufts students, faculty, and staff will fan out across the Chinatown neighborhood to pick up trash, plant flowers, and clean up sidewalks, all while learning about the history of the neighborhood and ways to get more involved with our Chinatown community partners.
