Before You Arrive Checklist |

Activate your WUSTL Key
- Activation information is emailed to incoming students by the University Registrar.

Enroll in DUO two-factor authentication
- Review and update your user profile in WebSTAC
- Select Student Information and User Profile on the top navigation panel.
- Apply for your WashU ID
- You must activate your WUSTL Key before you apply for your ID. Contact Campus Card Services for support.

CliftonStrengths Assessment |
During Winter Welcome, you will attend a session on Purpose and Leadership at WashU. To prepare for this session, we ask that you complete the CliftonStrengths assessment prior to your arrival. Follow these instructions to complete the assessment for free:

Register for an account using your WashU email address or sign in to an existing account

After signing in, you will be able to take the CliftonStrengths assessment. Please give yourself 30 minutes of quiet, uninterrupted time to complete it.

Message from the College of Arts & Sciences |
Please review the welcome email sent by the College of Arts & Sciences on December 9 for the next steps to get ready to register for the spring semester, including submitting your final transcript, reviewing and completing steps in the Canvas advising course, and contacting your four-year advisor to make an appointment.

You can't always predict when you will need medical or mental healthcare, so we encourage you to download the TimelyCare app before you arrive to campus. Set up your account using your WashU email address and enjoy access to 24/7 on-demand mental health support, medical and mental health appointments, and more.
|

|
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other services deliver to your WashU campus address. If you are living in Residential Life-managed housing, your MSC number and mailing address can be found with your housing assignment on WebSTAC. Mail Services can accept packages 14 days prior to move-in day.

Move-In Day & Winter Welcome
|
Transfer students will move-in on Wednesday, January 8. Students living in Residential Life-managed housing can move-in to their residence halls between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. All new transfer students must arrive on campus by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8. There will be a free dinner and required check-in with Student Transitions & Engagement at 6:00 PM on January 8.
Winter Welcome will take place Wednesday, January 8 - Sunday, January 12. Attendance is required. The Winter Welcome schedule is available to view. For more information about move-in, please reference the Residential Life website.

- January 8: Spring 2025 transfer student arrival

January 8-12: Winter Welcome
- January 13: First day of classes
- January 20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day (No classes)
- January 23, 9:00 PM CT: Last day to add/wait/change/drop with no permanent record notation
- February 21, 9:00 PM CT: Last day to change grade option to "P" or "A" (pass-fail or audit) from "C" (credit)
- March 9-16: Spring Break (No classes)
- April 4, 9:00 PM CT: Last day to drop/withdraw and change grading option to C from P/A
- April 25: Last day of classes
- April 28 - May 7: Reading period and final exams
