Language Learning Assistants are serving about 540 students in 100-level classes every week this semester – 200 students more than last spring! LCLC also has two interns, Brett (Spanish) and Kanimoli (French), working on projects related to peer tutoring and language teaching.
Meet our five new Chinese LLAs: Alejandro, Craig, Jay, Jojo, and Michelle! And thanks to mentor teachers Duosi Meng and Bridget Wang for welcoming them to their 101 and 103 classes.
Thanks to all who came to last week’s special events: the Polish/Russian pickling workshop and the Chinese mid-autumn festival were both delicious and hands-on! Chinese peer tutor Jojo told the story of the mid-autumn festival in a post on LCLC Peer Tutoring Instagram.
