For many of us August brings transitions. As we prepare for a new academic year, many of us are returning to familiar routines, welcoming new responsibilities, or adjusting to changes both at work and at home. These transitions can be energizing, but they can also add to our mental load.
Let's take an opportunity to pause and reflect: What helps you feel grounded when life gets busy? What supports your energy, focus, and wellbeing? Our relationship with food, our response to stress, and the environments we move through each day play a larger role than we realize.
Rather than striving to do more, we invite you to approach this time of the year with curiosity and self-compassion. Small moments of awareness can help us reconnect with the strengths and resources we already have, honoring what we do, recognizing the intentionality of our actions.
