Three days of fun are coming right up with the Lee Founders Weekend! Taste of Lee, a parade, fireworks, live music, a cooking contest (Best Sausage in Lee!), classic cars, magic clowns, a street magician, balloon rides, raffles, food, bouncy houses, a cemetery tour, Festival Latino, tennis clinics, and much, much more will be on hand! There will be a Lee Skate Park Competition on Saturday, September 16, at noon, with one-minute runs for all skill levels and all wheels (skateboard, scooter, BMX, rollerskates and rollerblades). The reading will take place at Stockbridge Coffee & Tea. Her poetry and essays have appeared in various publications, including Orion, Creative Nonfiction, Terrain, Briar Cliff Review, Catamaran, and others. Look out for her forthcoming chapbook, Verna.
