Welcome back to Navigate Updates!

Confronting Late or Delayed (Re)Enrollment |
Collaborations between the advising community, UAIR, and administrators resulted in coordinated communications going out to students eligible to re-enroll. Using data provided by UAIR, all schools and colleges outreached to students through Navigate with registration reminders for Fall 2025. Colleges are encouraged to send strategic campaign nudges as the fall semester approaches.
The goal of confronting late or delayed re-enrollment is to drive semester-to-semester student retention and ultimately improve student completion rates at the University of Utah.

Congratulations to Mark Campbell, Academic Advisor in the College of Science, for the highest number of appointments recorded in Navigate so far this summer!
Mark has been advising in the biology department for 10 years. He's experienced and well known across the department, so it's no surprise that so many students have scheduled with Mark over the summer. Mark also supports many of the incoming biology students during Utah Bound Orientation.

Navigate users are able to "Add a Note" to student profiles in batches of 100, rather than adding notes individually. This feature can especially help during Utah Bound Orientation when advisors want to document interactions with students without creating an appointment record.
The first step is to identify the list of students you want to add a note for.
|
-
You can access your Student Lists several places, including the Lists & Saved Items tab and your homepage. On the homepage under Assigned Students, select the Student List under List Type.
- You can only add a note in bulk to <100 students at a time. If you have more than 100 students on your Student List, you’ll have to add the notes in batches.
-
Click the check box to the left of the Name, click Actions, and click Note.
- You can write a narrative in the open field, attach a file, or add a Note Reason (scroll to the bottom).
- Click Save Note.
|
Email navigateinfo@utah.edu if you have any questions about adding notes in bulk.

New Look to Navigate Student App |
EAB updated the features and look & feel of the mobile app available to students. The Navigate360 Student mobile app provides a user-friendly platform for students to schedule appointments, view registration holds, receive appointment reminders, and track to-dos. The functionality of the app is similar to the desktop student site, but with the ability to send push notifications and connect to resources, like Forage.
To download the app, students can search "Navigate360 Student" in their preferred app store or click the link on this page.
