Exemplary Student Service Award

The Exemplary Student Service Award is given annually to a student for service performed using skills they honed through speech and debate. Nominate a student who upholds the highest standard of service, one of the tenets of our Code of Honor, by February 7.  

Overcoming Barriers to Educational Achievement 

Time is running out to apply to attend the 2019 NSDA Inclusion Workshop for coaches and educators! Attendees will learn strategies for effective engagement in dialogue about racial diversity, inclusion, and achievement gaps in education. The workshop will take place August 7-8 in Colorado Springs and is free for invited attendees. Limited financial support for housing is available! The NSDA National Conference is the best opportunity to learn best practices for speech and debate coaching and education, both for experienced coaches and newbies.
