Celebrating Speech and Debate Education

Last year's inaugural National Speech and Debate Education Day was a success. We are building on that momentum to make March 2, 2018, even bigger and reach more people! To do this, we need your team’s participation. Sign up to participate and we will share resources and communications with you to make the day a huge success.
Strapped for time? This is a great opportunity for a student or parent to be your team’s NSDE Day captain. Sign up or visit www.speechanddebateday.org to learn more.

Are Your Students Eligible for Recognition?

One or more of your students might be eligible for an Academic All American Award! This distinguished award recognizes students who have completed at least five semesters of high school; earned the degree of Superior Distinction in our Honor Society (a total of 750 or more merit points); achieved rigorous criteria for GPA and/or test score requirements; and demonstrated outstanding character and leadership. If your student is eligible, you'll see a yellow box with "AAA?" under the Awards column on the Student Roster.

If you determine they meet the other academic criteria outlined on the nomination form, you can submit an application on their behalf. If your student has already achieved AAA status (marked by the green "AAA" button on the roster), you or they can order a pin or certificate to commemorate their achievement through the Speech & Debate Store.
