Training Course Catalog Now Available

The brand-new Workday Training Catalog is now available to view. This comprehensive resource offers a variety of course options designed to meet your specific needs, from core functionalities to features regarding HCM and Finance. Visit the Workday Training Catalog to familiarize yourself with the upcoming courses and consider what areas of Workday you'd like to learn more about. Training registration will be available starting Thursday, May 2, 2024. 

PD Forum Workday Sessions

Two Workday sessions will be featured at the upcoming Professional Development Forum on Wednesday, May 8, 2024! These sessions are designed to help you understand the transition from Banner to Workday and prepare for a smooth implementation.

Transforming Terminology and Tasks From Banner to Workday: This session will clarify how familiar tasks and terminology will be translated into the new Workday system.

Workday Training – What Should I Take?: Feeling overwhelmed by the Workday training options? This session will provide guidance on selecting the most relevant training courses for your role.

Upcoming Lunch and Learn 

Join the Workday Lunch & Learn on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 12:00 - 12:45 p.m. This session will focus on accounting adjustments in Workday, including:

• J09 replacements
• Manual entries
• Payroll accounting

April 11 - Delegation: This session covered the ins and outs of setting up and utilizing the delegation process.

April 18 - Property Asset Tracking: This session showcased the new property asset features the University will leverage in Workday.

Heads up! Important cutover dates are coming soon. We'll be switching to the new Workday system on Monday, July 1. 2024. Be sure to mark your calendars. Stay tuned for more information about training and support in the meantime.

Upcoming Cutover Dates:

Tuesday, April 30 - Last day of Legacy system training (Banner Finance, Concur)

Friday, May 3 - Last day for FY24 Requisitions, iContracts and Change Orders

Friday, May 10 - Last day to hire OPS/students for summer 2024
