Kris Budd wears many hats in Student Financial Services, and a big one is helping students and their families who have past-due loans and accounts—but that doesn't mean people should be scared when she calls. “I like to help students concerning their finances, so they better understand what’s going on,” she says. Kris urges students not to hide from problems with their student accounts, and instead to talk about them. Even after graduating, Loggers often call Kris for help with federal student loans. “Ninety-nine percent of the time I am able to help clear up their questions,” she says.
