Meet our new advisory board members

We are thrilled to welcome 10 new members to Nazareth’s Alumni Advisory Board. To celebrate, engage, enrich, and continue a lifelong connection with Naz, the board provides advice and support to Nazareth staff on alumni engagement strategies.

2023 Sports Hall of Fame inductees

We are excited to announce this year’s Sports Hall of Fame inductees! Congratulations to: (pictured, left to right) Rachel Cushman ’09 (women’s soccer); Drew Simoneau ’15 (men’s lacrosse); Michelle Van Slyke ’11 (women’s golf); Joe Seil (retired sports information director); Scott Dawson ’16 (men’s hockey); Kelly Kocher ’12 (softball); Lindsey Kelly ’16 (women’s basketball); and Hans Schroeder ’11 (men’s volleyball).

They will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on September 23 as part of Naz Weekend, September 22–24, 2023.

Nazareth University diplomas

Alumni who graduated before June 1, 2023, may request a Nazareth University diploma, signed by Nazareth University's president and provost. Alumni requests for reprints will be free, compliments of Nazareth's Alumni Engagement office, for one year, until May 31, 2024.

Reimagining the campus stables

Most know the small barn that served as home to the horses lovingly cared for by Srs. Margaret Mary and Sienna until the last horse passed away about a year ago. Unfortunately, the stables’ structure has become increasingly compromised and was determined to be structurally unsound and unsafe. Sadly, the stables must come down. While bittersweet, the promising outcome is the opportunity to both honor the original use of this space and reimagine it for the next 100 years. Be on the lookout for ways to share your creative ideas!

Help prospective college students find their fit – perhaps by following in your footsteps! Naz is hosting a college fair on July 19. Alumni who Inspire a Flyer by referring them to Naz will get swag and the applicant is eligible for a $1,000 room grant.
