Highlighting Support for Our Community |
We understand that recent events have caused emotional distress within our NJCU community in Greenville. Violence and loss can have a significant impact on our mental health, affecting our well-being. It is important to acknowledge that violence and stigma can trigger troubling memories and leave individuals feeling uncertain and overwhelmed. We want you to know that we are here to support you, listen to you, and approach this situation with empathy and understanding.
The NJCU Counseling Center and the Speicher-Rubin Women's Center for Equity and Diversity offer free and confidential services to students who require assistance. Whether you need to speak with our confidential victim advocate and pastoral counselor, Venida Rodman Jenkins, schedule an appointment with a counselor in GSUB 308, or join a support group, there are services available to address your mental health needs.
