Featured FAQ

Where can I get a booster shot?
COVID-19 vaccines are available in the Eugene/Springfield community.
Lane County Public Health (LCPH) in partnership with Oregon Health Authority (OHA) are operating additional COVID-19 vaccine and booster clinics at Autzen Stadium. The clinics are open daily noon-7:00 p.m. to anyone eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine. No appointments are needed. Entry location and directions are available on the UO map.
Walk-in vaccination clinics at PeaceHealth RiverBend Annex are now open Tuesday-Sunday. Appointments are not needed for the walk-in clinics. LCPH is offering booster shot clinics and provides a list of additional places, including health care providers and pharmacies, that offer COVID-19 vaccinations.
If you are outside of the Lane County area, check with local public health agency, pharmacies, or health care providers about booster shot options and appointments in your area.
Note: Remember to bring your vaccine card to be updated when getting your booster shot.

Reminders

Booster Requirement: To submit your booster shot information:
  • Students: Log in to the MyUOHealth Portal. Visit the "Immunizations" tab. This is the same process used to upload your original vaccination information.
  • Employees: Fill out this online form and upload a copy of your vaccine card. This is the same form used to verify your initial vaccine status.
Exemption Process: As with our existing vaccination requirements, the University of Oregon will continue to recognize both medical and non-medical exemptions to the booster shot requirement consistent with state law. Details about the exemption process are available on the student and employee vaccination requirement webpages.
For more information about the booster shot requirement and answers to frequently asked questions, visit the Coronavirus Resources website.
COVID-19 Testing: Individuals with no symptoms or mild symptoms can get tested through UO's Monitoring and Assessment Program. Lane County provides an extensive list of additional COVID-19 testing sites. Check with testing facilities to ensure they meet your test type and time frame requirements.
Students should not go to the hospital emergency room (ER) solely to get a test. Please do go to the ER or call 911 if you are experiencing severe symptoms.
Prevention: The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus. The CDC outline some general precautions to minimize the spread of respiratory diseases.
