New Issue of STS Student-Published Journal Intersect

Intersect is an international research journal run by undergraduate and graduate students at Stanford University and is supported by STS. It publishes research and scholarship on the social factors that shapes, underwrites, and/or inhibits research and invention, just as these social forces are, in turn, shaped by evolving science and technology. It welcomes undergraduate, graduate, and PhD submissions at the intersection of history, culture, sociology, art, literature, business, law, health, and design with science and technology. The latest issue contains eleven research articles, two scholarly pieces, and two interviews ranging from topics on brain differences in musicians and non-musicians, to substance abuse in adolescents as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, to women’s sexual uprisings in Iran. Read the latest issue here.

Attention Seniors!

The deadline to apply to graduate for the Spring, 2022, is Friday, April 8, 2022.  Information and instructions can be found on the Registrar's website here.  See our website for STS 2022 Commencement Info.
