Grad Student Lounge Survey

A green and yellow graphic promoting the Grad Student Lounge Survey.
We're revisioning the Graduate Student Lounge and would like to get your feedback! What do you like about the space? What are barriers to you using the Grad Student Lounge? Does the current furniture serve your desired use?
Let us know how we can make this space better for you by taking our quick Grad Student Lounge Survey.

Hiring Timeline for Division GE Positions

Thank you to everyone who applied for the division's four GE positions. We have begun to process applications.
If you applied, you can expect to hear if you will or will not be moving forward to interviews by spring break at the latest. We plan to schedule interviews for early spring term, so that those moving to interviews can use the break to prepare.

Funding, Opportunities, and Support

This network connects members of the UO community with UO families needing caregiving. Only those with a UO email address can access the network to add their name to the caregiving list or view the list to connect with a care provider.

Opportunity for Current GEs: UO Employee Engagement Survey
The university's employee engagement survey is open until March 9, and GEs are encouraged to participate.
  • An email from Gallup with a unique survey link went to all current GEs on Monday, February 23. Check your "Other" inbox if you don't see it.
  • This confidential survey is based on Gallup's research into what helps employees feel connected to their work and supported in their workplace.
  • Results will help departments understand what's going well and identify simple, practical steps to improve engagement and support for employees.

We offer a number of funding opportunities, most with deadlines of Wednesday, April 1.

These external funding opportunities, offered by the Office of Student Access and Completion, are available to graduate students who will have resided in Oregon for at least one year prior to September 1, 2026. Eligible applicants include permanent residents, DACA, and undocumented students.
Please view the OSAC website for more information on eligibility and how to apply. The deadline to apply is Monday, March 2.

View our GE Job Openings webpage to see open GE positions on campus.

Student Service Opportunities

Student input is critical to our mission, and graduate students are a key voice in university-wide service and advisory committees. The Division of Graduate Studies is looking for graduate students who are interested in filling student spots on committees for next academic year, including the Graduate Council and the Graduate Student Assistance Fund Committee.
No prior service experience is required. Express your interest by May 1.

Meet the Division Staff
