UTA broke ground this morning on UTA West, its highly anticipated campus to be located on the western edge of Fort Worth, during a ceremonial event that marked a major step in the University’s expansion. UTA West will feature cutting-edge academic and research facilities that will bring together students, faculty, and industry leaders to drive innovation and workforce development.

As part of the Maverick Speakers Series, musician, actor, and author Ice-T will share his story of resilience and success in his lecture “Overcoming Adversity: From Streets to Stardom” on Wednesday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Texas Hall. Help the Maverick advising community remind students of these three easy steps so they are ready and cleared for spring registration: Confirm summer and fall courses with your advisor, clear any registration-preventing holds, and check for your date to begin enrolling!
