Celebrate the Massachusetts Community Clean Awards on November 5

Join us for some good clean fun as we recognize our 2026 honorees.

The Massachusetts Clean Community Awards recognize Massachusetts residents, nonprofits, government leaders, and businesses for exceptional environmental protection and community improvement efforts. This year’s celebration of civic engagement and positive energy will take place at the Village Hall on the Common in Framingham on November 5. Tickets are now available!

We also invite you to nominate a person, business, legislator, or municipality that is working to make a positive impact in your community.

Something Beautiful is Happening in Downtown Holden

Beautiful things can happen when a community comes together. Want proof? Look at what’s happening in downtown Holden.

After more than a year of planning, Keep Holden Beautiful beautified downtown Holden's Main Street with 26 vibrant hanging flowerpots.

This project was made possible by the generosity of 60 local businesses and other community supporters who have so far donated more than $32,000. This project is proof that beautification projects don't just improve a streetscape — they bring communities together and create places people are proud to call home.

Join Us For a Carson Beach Cleanup On July 16

Help us keep South Boston’s Carson Beach and the surrounding area litter-free!

Join us on Thursday, July 16, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot adjacent to the Carson Beach Bath House for an evening cleanup.

We'll provide all the cleanup supplies. All you need to do is show up! This event is sponsored by Love, Tito's and is open to all ages. Pre-registration is required.

Students Step Up to Support KMB!

Young leaders like Neriah and Maggie from Missituk Elementary School in Medford remind us that you're never too young to make a difference.

By hosting a lemonade stand, they raised $71 to support Keep Massachusetts Beautiful, and they're not stopping there! They're also rolling up their sleeves to clean up litter in their Medford neighborhood.

We're also grateful to the students of Tahanto Regional Middle/High School in Boylston, who organized a bake sale and raised $534, which they then donated to Keep Massachusetts Beautiful.

Thank you to these amazing students for showing that small acts of service can create a big impact and for helping us build a cleaner, greener Massachusetts.
