Sacramento has recently dropped from Widespread to Substantial on the Blueprint for a Safer Economy's County Risk Level. Let's do our parts to get down to Moderate.

Friends of the Fair Scholarship Program
Mark your calendars and share it with your friends and family! The online application for the 2021-2022 scholarships opens Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
Last year, Friends of the California State Fair awarded 26 students $44,000 in scholarships for the 2020-21 academic year. These students represent 20 California cities.
The Friends of the California State Fair Scholarship Program is a collaborative effort between the Friends of the California State Fair, the California Exposition & State Fair, the California State Fair Agricultural Advisory Council, the Ironstone Concours Foundation, and Blue Diamond Growers. This program seeks to motivate well-rounded, high academic achievers.

Harness Racing Returns November 21
The live Standardbred Season kicks off on Saturday, November 21!
Harness Racing will continue every Friday and Saturday night at 6:15 pm for 44 racing dates, culminating on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
Currently, there won't be a live audience. We hope in the future we will be able to let spectators back in.

Foothills Christmas Trees Opens November 27

Starting Friday, November 27, Foothills Christmas Trees will be open in Lot D (East Gate entrance). These hand-selected trees are grown and freshly cut from the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon.
  • Open 7 days a week, 9 am to 8 pm, until Christmas Eve or when trees sell out
  • Sizes range from 2-16 feet
  • Prices range from $15-150
  • Other holiday greens available
  • White snow flocking available
