Support the Gwinnett County Police Foundation This Fall!
The Gwinnett County Police Foundation is hosting two events this Fall 2023, and you can show your support by participating or sponsoring. Gwinnett Place CID appreciates the Gwinnett County police department and its officers for all they do in our district.
On October 2, the Foundation’s annual golf tournament will be hosted at Reunion Golf Club in Hoschton, Georgia. The driving range opens at 7:30 a.m. for early risers, but don’t miss tee-off at 9 a.m.! This Lauderdale-style tournament includes awards for first, second and third place as well as longest drive and closest to the pin. Register to play or sponsor here.
The SWAT Trot 5K 2023 begins the morning of Saturday, October 7. Join the race at Little Mulberry Park in Dacula or hang out for a fun morning of music, door prizes and great snacks. After the race, awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, Master’s male and female winners and Grand Master male and female winners as well as the fastest times by gender and age bracket.
Gwinnett County’s Proposed Transit Plan Invests in Expanding Infrastructure
On September 5, Gwinnett County commissioners were introduced to Gwinnett’s proposed new Transit Development Plan. The plan focuses on the expansion of local and microtransit services as well as routes from Gwinnett to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, including stops at the Gwinnett Place Transit Center.

Building Brains (B2) Anywhere: A Shirley Carver Miller Learning Initiative is an early-learning brainchild of Gwinnett County dedicated to providing children, parents and caregivers fun and engaging learning opportunities to help develop growing brains.
