STUDENT AUTHENTICATION ENHANCEMENTS AHEAD
In the next five weeks, ITS will be implementing Duo Multi-Factor Authentication, an added layer of security, for all students in phases by class standing - LMU graduate students and all Loyola Law School students; Seniors; Juniors; Sophomores; and First Years.
ITS will send out a more detailed email to each student group with enrollment steps, where to go for assistance, which systems will be protected by Duo, and why. Students will then receive a Duo enrollment email directly from Duo with a unique link to start the enrollment process. Note that although this is an opt-in process for now, you will continue to receive enrollment invitation emails from Duo.
LMU strongly encourages students to take immediate action to enroll in Duo. On Sept. 6, mandatory Duo enrollment will be enforced to access systems such as MyLMU, PROWL, Degree Works, Box, and more.
