RTSWS Students Take Their Next Steps |
This summer, RTSWS students and alumni are gaining professional experience through internships, early-career roles, credentialing programs and other opportunities across finance and related fields. Over this year, our Career Center featured over 650 internships, jobs & industry events serving students and alumni across our footprint.
These experiences encourage students to apply what they have learned, build professional networks and explore potential career paths. Throughout the summer, RTSWS will highlight some of these exciting roles, accomplishments and lessons learned.
To our volunteers, sponsors and more than 90 active employers, thank you for supporting these talented students, recognizing their hard work and ambitions.

“I have enjoyed getting to know Rock the Street, Wall Street over many years. I think the work that RTSWS does is amazing and very valuable to its students, participants, alumni, and the entire network of financial professionals.
In my current role with CFA Institute, I'm really glad to support the organization. My hope is that RTSWS students continue to learn and benefit from earning the Investment Foundations Certificate as they build a strong foundation for their futures.”
In a recent episode of Rocking Finance, Ashley Leftwich speaks with Tricia Rothschild about leading organizations through periods of innovation. From helping to scale businesses with more than two decades at Morningstar to leading the CFA Institute, Tricia talks about her career journey, finding your inspiration and her advice for the next generation.

Science Supports Celebrating Wins |
|
|
|
|
Our CEO reflects on this graduation season, noting that RTSWS is taking time to celebrate the many milestones students achieve along the way. Some are highly visible, such as graduating or starting a new job. Others are quieter yet still meaningful: asking a first question during an Insight Day, introducing oneself to a professional or beginning to see a future in the capital markets.
In goal-oriented academic and professional settings, it can be easy to focus immediately on what comes next. Research reinforces the value of pausing to recognize progress, showing that small wins can strengthen confidence, motivation and resilience. Celebrating these moments helps students and industry volunteers recognize meaningful progress and carry that momentum forward.
