Summer hours

Campus office hours during the summer are 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Campus will be closed Monday, June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday.

It's been one week since you ... graduated

It's hard to believe it has already been more than a week since school got out and the 54th graduating class from Sound Christian Academy was launched into the world.

While the graduates have been enjoying their early foray into adulthood, the SCA media department has been busy editing hundreds of photos from graduation.

A full graduation photo gallery will be hitting Facebook this week! We hope you enjoy seeing all of the smiling faces as we celebrated their wonderful night. A huge thanks to Leah Keller and Craig Craker for taking photos at the event, as well as to Rachel Arbogast for grabbing the official class photo above.

It is with great sadness, but much appreciation that we say goodbye to Donna Brooks from our Middle School teaching ranks.

Donna has taught at Tacoma Baptist/Sound Christian Academy for 22 years.

"My husband and I are entering a new stage of life as the last of our daughters is getting married in the coming weeks. I have poured my heart and soul, time, and energy into my students these past 22 years—and have loved doing so. However, the time has come for me to find work closer to home so that I can spend more time with my husband and family."
