Lost & Found. The lost and found box is located in the main office. Please note that due to storage limitations, the box will be emptied at the end of each school week.

CAFETERIA VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. If you are interested in committing 1 day a week (or more) to helping in the cafeteria, we need you! Please join us for an informational meeting on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 8:30 a.m. in the cafeteria.

This year, the Phoneathon will be held on Wednesday, October 9 at the LSU Foundation. Calls will be made from 6:00 – 7:30 pm followed by a Happy Hour until 8:30 pm. Volunteers are needed to reach out to fellow parents as a follow up to the materials and messaging sent by the ULS Foundation, to assist volunteer callers with follow up texts, and with administrative tasks during the Phoneathon. Volunteer callers attend a thorough training and are mentored by a team leader.

Wear Your Cub Care Camp Shirt. Students in K-6 are encouraged to wear their Summer Cub Camp t-shirts on Friday, Sept. 20, to celebrate the end of summer.
|
Reminder: If you drive up after the bell rings at 7:45 and the doors are closed and there are no teachers outside, please park and walk your child into the main office. For the safety of your children, DO NOT drop them off unattended.

New date and time! The camp clinic will be held on Saturday, October 5 from 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. with a parent showcase at 11:15a.m. Participants will receive a camp shirt and the chance to perform at a high school halftime show. The big performance will take place on Thursday, October 10 at Cub Complex. Registrations from the previous date will be honored!

Saturdays via Zoom at 10:00 a.m.: ACT/SAT Test Prep Classes. In partnership with Advantage Testing, the Louisiana Center for College Access offers weekly standardized test prep courses. These courses are broken down into four sections: math, reading, science, and English. All Louisiana high school students are eligible to participate in these free, online courses.

Thursday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m.: College Can be Affordable: Here’s How. Worried about college costs? Join the College Guidance Network and enrollment and finance expert, Elizabeth Keuffel, to learn how to make a workable plan that includes discussing finances with your family, accessing resources, and unlocking possibilities.
Tuesday, September 24 at 5:30 PM: Good Study Habits.
It's important to remember that when studying and preparing for tests, it's all about working smarter, not necessarily harder. In this workshop, Logan Chapman, Tulane's Director of Academic Success Initiatives, will discuss and explore ways in which you can build strong study habits that will lead to deeper learning and better preparation for your tests.

LSU Lab School Football Gameday Rules and Reminders:
Security checkpoints. Metal detectors will be used for everyone entering the main gates at Cub Complex and wands will be used for everyone entering the drive thru gates.
Clear bag policy. Clear bags should be no larger than 12” x 6” x 12.”
No unattended students. Any student in grades K – 8 will not be admitted unless they are accompanied by a guardian or responsible party.
No re-entry. Tickets will be non-refundable, non-transferable, and no re-entry will be allowed. Anyone who leaves the stadium during the game will not be allowed to re-enter without paying for an additional ticket.
No sporting equipment will be allowed inside the complex.
The baseball facility is off limits. Students are not permitted inside the baseball facility at any time during a football game.
Stay on the home side. Students should remain on the home side of Cub Complex at all times.
No horseplay on or around the picnic tables under the pavilion.
Group ticketing. If you purchase multiple tickets together, everyone in your party will need to be present to enter.
No sideline access. Sideline access is limited to the team, support staff, spirit groups, and school administrators.
