Sometimes we want to dismiss things that society might view as negative.
But at Triple Threat, we try and embrace those things. If it’s something at-risk youth wanna do, then we wanna do it.
That’s why I’m STOKED to announce a new program we’re calling TKO MMA — which stands for The Kids Of MMA.
Wha….. kids are gonna fight? Yup. But it’s much deeper and structured than just that.
Through an awesome grant, we’ve been able to partner with renowned martial artist Severiano Moreno. This guy is so legit, he founded his own martial arts system that's recognized by the Aikijukado Association called heiwasensijustsu. Moreno was even inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
So what’s it all mean?
We think it’s a frriggin rad opportunity to connect with some kids. MMA has exploded in popularity in recent years, and we’d be dumb to ignore the fact that kids wanna get in the ring.
So we don’t ignore it. We embrace it. We’re building the most BA barracus MMA curriculum around. The fighting part is only a small part of what this is all about. More than anything, TKO MMA is gonna be about character-building and overcoming obstacles while gettin fit.
And above all, it’s a prime example of how we roll at 3T. Whatever your passion is, we help you share it with at-risk youth. It’s awesome sauce.
