Dear Friends,
As the spring semester comes to a close, the best word to describe my emotions is bittersweet, and I bet that extends to many faculty, staff, and students too. There’s so much joy seeing the hard work of the academic year rewarded with successes in courses and terrific jobs ahead, and seeing soon-to-be alums walking across the stage at commencement. At the same time, we’ll miss those students who are leaving us, and I know they’ll miss Miami too.
I hope that reading about the fantastic graduate students who received scholarships this spring, and the firms and donors that made this possible, will bring the word sweet to your minds! We’re so grateful for the supportive community and opportunities that our scholarships help build. Please join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of all our students, and especially of our students who will be graduating the weekend of May 17–18!
