MegaCon 2023 is just three months away, May 9-11. Look for an email with the agenda and registration information soon. The annual event will bring approximately 1,000 contracting entities to Austin for three days of education, interaction, and fun. All the excitement will take place over four floors of the AT&T Conference Center at the University of Texas. Mark your calendars! Look for updates here.
TDA has released the 2022-2023 School Data for Area Eligibility Report. Schools listed on this report as well as non-school summer sites and CACFP At-risk sites in the attendance zones of the schools listed are eligible to operate their respective programs.
Take the Texas Farm Fresh Survey!
Starting on February 8, TDA will email CACFP administrators an invitation to complete the biannual Texas Farm Fresh Survey. This survey collects information about CE purchases of Texas-grown foods and Farm Fresh educational activities conducted with program participants. For questions regarding the survey, please contact FarmFresh@TexasAgriculture.gov.
USDA has contracted with Westat to conduct the Family Child Care Home (FCCH) Provider Experience Survey to help gather information about family child care providers’ experiences with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and recommendations to facilitate their CACFP participation.

USDA Team Nutrition provides free printed materials for participants in the Federal Children Nutrition Programs, all you need to do is fill out a request! It’s not just handouts; offerings include a new CACFP magnet to remember milk requirements or an interactive bingo-style game used to test your milk requirement knowledge for CACFP.
