Congratulations to Stony Brook faculty members Pawan Kumar (Microbiology and Immunology), Marci Lobel (Department of Psychology, and Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine), and Markus Seeliger (Pharmacological Sciences) – each of their studies has been selected as part of the 2023 STAT Madness competition, which starts TOMORROW, Wednesday, March 1. STAT Madness is a national competition using online voting to select the top innovation/discovery by leading research institutions from the previous year. Only some published studies are selected to participate in the 64-team competition. This is the first time three SBU studies were chosen. Use this link (goes live 3/1) to vote for the SBU studies, which will be summarized on the bracket draw when the competition begins.
