Friday, January 24 | Spring Semester 2020

ISSS is excited to begin a new semster and a new year. 2020 is an exciting year to be in the U.S. - not only is it the start of a new decade, it is also a leap year, a U.S. presidential election year, and a Census year! The Census only takes place every 10 years, and everyone living in the U.S. at that time is counted. Watch for more information about how to participate later this spring.

ISSS is here to support you and keep you informed. In addition to this weekly Friday newsletter, we will begin sending brief weekly reminders on Mondays about events that are happening that week. Be sure to check your email and open all emails from international@MiamiOH.edu
Safe travels to everyone returning to campus and Happy Lunar New Year to all those who may be celebrating!

Submit Reduced Course Load Request

Are you completing your degree this semester? Do you need fewer than 12 credits (undergraduate) or 9 credits (graduate) to finish your degree requirements?

Good news! Government regulations state that you may be eligible to receive permission for a reduced course load based on final semester of study. Please carefully review reduced course load eligibility and instructions.

If you meet the requirements, please take action now and complete the following as soon as possible: communicate with your academic division, and apply for a reduced course load in InterLink.

ISSS will begin review of submitted requests during the first week of classes. If you experience problems or have questions, contact international@MiamiOH.edu.
