Clinical Trials Patient Appreciation Day
|
Moores hosted its first annual Clinical Trials Patient Appreciation Day on May 20, 2024. Three patients–and their treating physicians–were invited to speak about their experiences as participants in clinical trials at Moores: Donald Krafft, Doña Harman, and the Mayor of El Centro, Sylvia Marroquin.
Donald, Doña, and Sylvia were directed to Moores because of the exceptional clinical trials that are available. Clinical trials often are a patient’s best hope for treatment, and they allow for the advancement of cancer care.
The stories that Donald, Doña, and Sylvia shared demonstrate the essential role that clinical trials can play in saving lives. Moores thanks not only everyone who came to listen, but also Donald, Doña, and Sylvia, who generously shared their experiences with clinical trials and how they are cancer free because of them.
