With U of A and Pima College students returning to Tucson and downtown, we’re reminded that cooler temperatures are on the horizon. While we bid farewell to our Summer Love campaign, which highlighted unique downtown experiences, we’re excited to wrap it up with a staycation feature at Tucson’s newest hotel in the city’s tallest building. Downtown’s event season is just heating up, with two major events kicking off this weekend. Plus, the grand opening of the new Folk Center at the Historic Labor Temple is tomorrow. Downtown Tucson Celebrates the Return of the Wildcats and Aztecs
Monday marked the first day of classes for University of Arizona students, and as both Wildcats and Pima Community College students return to Tucson, Pima County, the City of Tucson, Mayor Regina Romero and Chair Adelita Grijalva are pleased to welcome you to Tucson and to our vibrant downtown. Downtown Tucson is a downtown for everyone – the region’s eclectic urban hub, where people come to connect, be authentically inspired, prosper, and celebrate diversity.
