The annual Community Partner Breakfast brings together UTA faculty, staff, and administrators with regional Nonprofit Community Agencies, providing a unique opportunity for collaboration in service learning projects within UTA academic courses. It also provides campus departments the chance to discuss service opportunities for their departments and organizations wherein civic engagement is a major component.

Service learning Faculty Fellows Program
|
The Center for Service Learning Faculty Fellows Program consists of cohorts with up to 10 fellows each. Fellows participate in a semester-long intensive four-seminar course. Not only do fellows gain tools for integrating a service component into an existing course in an academically rigorous way, but they also build collaborative relationships with faculty across disciplines and with community agencies.
Join this intensive program to learn how to incorporate a service component into your course to benefit your students and the community. Open to all faculty.

MAFE Faculty Fellows Program
|
Become a MAFE (Maverick Advantage Faculty Engagement) Faculty Fellow and learn how to incorporate experiential activities into your course. The program consists of a small cohort of UTA faculty who participate in a year-long intensive program. Fellows will gain tools for integrating a Maverick Advantage distinguishing activity component into an existing course and build collaborative relationships with both faculty across campus and the Maverick community at large.

Help students on the Trail to Success
|
The Blaze Forward Network will host a two-day interactive campus experience designed to help new and current Mavericks find their classes, connect with peers, and start the semester with confidence. Starting Tuesday, Aug. 12, through Wednesday, Aug.13, students can get help navigating campus, participate in a fun scavenger hunt, and win UTA-branded giveaways like shirts and backpacks.

Adobe programs under review
|
As part of OIT's ongoing efforts to manage software resources efficiently and ensure we are making the most of our Adobe contract, we are currently reviewing campus-wide usage of Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Other Adobe products are not impacted.
OIT would like to know whether you, as a UTA employee, need access so that we can align our licensing with actual usage.
