September Staff Spotlight: Joy David
Joy David is the Technical Advisor Coordinator for Loyola's Online Programs in the Department of Student Records. She oversees transfer credit articulations, Degree Program Course Listings and registration for our online students to ensure they remain on a steady path to program completion and graduation. Joy, who is also a 1992 graduate of Loyola, has been working at Loyola since 2007. She joined the Online Team in August 2018.
"As a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans, I have absolutely loved being a part of Loyola's Online Team knowing that students from around the country are now able to receive the same stellar Jesuit education that I received while they remain in their own communities. This is critical for so many online adult learners who also maintain full time jobs. A Jesuit education inspires us to be our best self and enables us to think critically about the world around us. It brings joy - no pun intended- to my life to be a part of the Loyola Online Team working with our online program students on a daily basis in supporting them on their journey to receive a degree from Loyola which will enable them to lead fruitful lives with and for others."
Each issue we will feature an online student or faculty/staff member who embodies the Ignatian ideals of faith, truth, justice, and service in our online community. If you'd like to nominate someone, please contact ssconlinega@loyno.edu to share who and why you think deserves to be in the spotlight.
