"Love Does Not Hurt" Event

On Oct. 15, a subtle hum of excitement vibrated through the Plano Campus Living Legends Conference Center as volunteers welcomed guests to “Love Does Not Hurt: An Oath Against Domestic Violence at Collin College,” an event aimed at helping individuals affected by domestic violence. Read more 

Gene Editing Lecture at Frisco Campus

Collin College will host the 26th Knowledge is Power (KIP) Public Lecture Series from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Frisco Campus Conference Center. Dr. Amy Helms, professor of biology, and Kimberly O’Neil, professor of political science, will present “Gene Editing: Virtue or Vice.” The lecture will address the latest technologies in gene modification and potential consequences and impact on modern society.
