With spring semester starting Monday, here are some things to please keep in mind to help keep us all safe and protected. Happy to have students and faculty back on campus!

In Case You Missed These Important Messages …
Why Boosters Are Mandated and Why They Matter …
Stony Brook University operates under the guidance and mandates of the State of New York and the SUNY system, and our recent booster requirement for all students is in compliance with NYS Governor Hochul’s mandate (effective January 15, 2022) that all SUNY and CUNY students receive a booster.
Dozens of colleges and universities across the country have already taken that step, designed to keep campuses safe for in-person learning.
WEST CAMPUS EMPLOYEES:
If You’ve Tested Positive for COVID …
… we now have a short, online Return to Work COVID Clearance Form you will be required to complete where you will be asked to attest that you no longer have a fever and that you’ve completed a five-day isolation period. Based on your responses, you will be given additional guidance or cleared to return to work. Your supervisor will automatically be notified of your return to work date as well. If you reported your positive results to the Health Information Line (HIL), you will receive an email containing the Clearance Form link.
Masking Guidance Reminder and Minor Correction …
Updated Testing Schedule …
Please visit the Testing and Screening webpage of our Stronger Together site for the Spring COVID Testing Schedule and please remember to continue testing as required, based on your vaccination status. Those who have not provided vaccination information must test weekly. Those who have recorded their vaccination status should test monthly. As a helpful reminder, the week of January 24 is for vaccinated employees with last names A-E.
