Please consider adding the Scholarly Summit to your syllabus. This would allow you to attend sessions that are of interest to your professional development, and it would also give your students the opportunity to attend sessions that are tailored to their interests.
Session Highlight
As we get closer to the date, we will highlight a different session each month to inform you of the different subjects and topics covered in the Summit. This month's session is Where to Start: Building Your Research Program
Presenter: Dr. Chad Hargrave
Description: This session is designed to help faculty researchers develop and strengthen their research programs. Participants will explore strategies for identifying research goals, developing research questions, and designing research projects that align with their interests and expertise. The session will also cover best practices for building a successful research program, including developing a research agenda, securing funding, collaborating with colleagues, and disseminating research findings. By the end of the session, participants will have a better understanding of the steps involved in building a successful research program and will have developed a roadmap for moving their research programs forward.
