Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) Meeting on Obstetric Care for Women with Opioid Use Disorder
TIPQC was represented at the AIM meeting on the Obstetric Care for Women with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) bundle meeting in Washington D.C. November 14th.  Tennessee was one of 17 states in attendance with Dr. Jessica Young (Vanderbilt Department of OB/GYN) and Suzanne McMurtry Baird, DNP, RN (TIPQC Maternal Quality Improvement Specialist).  TIPQC has the opportunity to join the AIM collaborative and work on improving outcomes for women with OUD in Tennessee.  The AIM partnership provides interprofessional support and structure for sharing quality improvement resources, ideas, implementation tools, and outcome measures with real time data.  Other benefits for Tennessee include the blending of clinical and public health initiatives within the state and to build on current existing initiatives.
