The annual BYM Committee Handbook is now available. All BYM Committee and Working Group Members are encouraged spend some time familiarizing themselves with the timeline for the year, as well as information on budgets and requesting payments.
Faith & Practice (with updates through 2025) will be available as a PDF and ePub by the end of this month. Paper copies will be printed in October and 2 copies distributed to each BYM Monthly Meeting by postal mail and in-person at November Interim Meeting. NEW for 2025: Print-on-Demand copies will also be available - making it easier for Meetings to get additional copies and for Friends to get individual copies.
The 2025 Yearbook will not be printed until after the November 15 Interim Meeting due to the delays in finalizing the 2026 Budget and the 2025 Epistle. Copies will be mailed to Meetings in December and will also be made available by Print-on-Demand and ePub at the same time. If you need a copy of the 2026 Directory before December, please contact admin@bym-rsf.org - the Directory will be available in October.

Young Friends Con: Sep 26-28 at Rolling Ridge
|
BYM Young Friends (high-school age) will gather for their first Conference of the school year - Septomber Con - the weekend of Sep 26-28 at the Still Point Retreat House that abuts the Rolling Ridge Conservancy. YFs will come down the mountain on Saturday to join in the family camp activities! Limited transportation is available from the BYM office.

| Oxford Friends Annual Fall Flea Market, Sep 20
|
Oxford Friends Meeting invite you to their annual fall flea-market - happening this Sat, Sep 20 from 8:30am - 2:00pm. A variety of vendors will be set up indoors and outdoors, and proceeds will benefit the East Nottingham Roof Fund. Come early for the best deals!

Family, friends, and loved ones of Patience (Pat) Schenck will gather on Sun, Sep 28 for a Memorial Meeting in the manner of Friends at 2:00pm at Friends House in Sandy Spring and via Zoom. Pat died on July 4, 2025. The Memorial, and her Memorial Meeting will be held under the care of Annapolis Friends Meeting at Friends House. Pat's children also share their Mom's obituary, published in the Annapolis Capital Gazette.

Chesapeake Quarter Meets Sep 28
|
Chesapeake Quarter will meet on Sept 28 at Gunpowder Friends Meeting. This quarter's meeting will include the special program Connecting Friends Through Fellowship & Song, led by Ruth Fitz (Gunpowder). Chesapeake Quarter includes Friends from Annapolis, Stony Run, Gunpowder, Homewood Friends Meeting; Little Falls, Patapsco, Patuxent, and Sandy Spring Friends Meetings, but all Friends are welcome to attend. The next Chesapeake Quarter Meeting will be held at Stony Run in Feb 2026.
