An Interview with Dean Kristina Rose |
Dean Rose recently spoke with Washington Square News as part of The Literary Issue, sharing insights on how the Libraries supports NYUâs device-free initiative, studentsâ relationships with physical books in a digital age, and the Librariesâ approach to AI.
âMost of my career has been spent working on that connection of figuring out how we connect people with our resources, so thatâs really important to me,â said Dean Rose. âSometimes, if you hit a barrier, you might not want to come back. You might go to Google or you might just think ChatGPT is a great way to get all your information â itâs not. Iâm really invested in thinking about how we can make things much easier for people to use. How can we make our libraries more comfortable for people to be in?â
