NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CALIFORNIA COASTAL COMMISSION will hold a public hearing starting at 9:00 am, Wednesday, March 11, 2026
The Coastal Commission meeting will be a hybrid meeting occurring both in-person and virtually through video and teleconference. Please see the Coastal Commission’s Virtual Hearing Procedures posted on the Coastal Commission’s webpage at www.coastal.ca.gov/mtgcurr.html for details on the procedures of this hearing. The in-person hearing will be held at the County of Ventura Government Center, located at 800 S Victoria Ave., Ventura, CA 93009.
The public hearing will act on the following item of local interest:
Item W11a: County of Santa Barbara Local Coastal Program Amendment No. LCP-4-STB-24-0064-2 (SB 423). Public hearing and action on County of Santa Barbara’s request to amend the Implementation Plan portion of its certified LCP to incorporate new development standards and permit procedures regarding projects qualifying for streamlined ministerial review in conformance with new state housing law.
