Veterans Day (November 11)

Veterans Day honors members of the military who have nobly served in America's armed forces. Seton Hall has long been an institution with a remarkable military tradition with ROTC and our designation as a Yellow Ribbon school.

Join the Campus Inclusion Center and RISE as we discuss Being First-Gen. The Let's Talk series is a safe space for students to share, discuss, and find resources on various topics.

Commuter Study Hall
November 11, 12 p.m.
The space offers light snacks, comfy chairs, and charging stations for your tech. Find a space to study and connect with other students!

Decompression Day
November 12, 12 p.m.
After midterms and the election, you deserve some self-care, snacks, and fun. Let's improve mindfulness, well-being, and resilience. We will have games, coloring books, gratitude lists, puzzles, crafting, and music.

Pray for Justice and Healing and Peace
The University Chapel is open 24/7, as are the other sacred spaces across our three campuses, including the Prayer Room in the University Center. Come in and pray for the world, and join us for worship. Agape Latte will be on November 21.

The DOVE Toy Drive brings joy to children on Christmas morning, supporting our immediate neighbors and reaching as far as the Appalachian region of West Virginia.

Please donate a new teddy bear/s (any size) to support The Teddy Bear Project. The new teddy bears are distributed, via CASA (Case Appointed Special Advocates), to children throughout New Jersey who are in the foster care system. Please bring your new, unwrapped teddy bear/s to Bayley Hall, Room 108 by Thursday December 12, 2024.

Three Sisters Stew: Native American Heritage Month Program - November 7, Maplewood
Celebrate the heritage of Native American cooking. This demo and tasting event uses ingredients central to Native American diets for centuries.

Community Day: Celebrations Indigenous Art & Culture - November 9, Newark
Spend the day exploring the rich heritage of the First Nations through dance, drums, hands-on activities, and more. 

New York Veterans Day 2024 Parade - November 11, New York City
The nation's largest Veterans Day event, the NYC Veterans Day Parade is hosted by the United War Veterans Council, and celebrates its 105th year.
