Protect Our Seniors!

Scams designed to take advantage of senior citizens are an unfortunate reality these days. If you'd like to learn more about how to protect yourself or a loved one, make plans to attend this free event at our North River Library in Bridgewater on Tuesday, September 6th, at 2PM.
Led by the Better Business Bureau, this informative free program discusses scam vulnerability, how to spot scams, resources for protection, and more.

Angela Easterling in Concert September 15th

Angela Easterling will present a free concert of her own original songs interspersed with selections of classic folk, roots, and country tunes at Central Library in downtown Harrisonburg. Join us on Thursday, September 15, at 7PM!

As part of her performance, Easterling will discuss the craft of songwriting and tell the stories behind her songs, weaving in some roots music history and the artists who have influenced her writing. With a new album and past appearances at WNRN and WTJU in Charlottesville, MRL is very pleased to welcome Easterling back to the Valley.

Seats will be limited for this event; register at this link.
