Happy November! This month, we are thankful to those who give their time, talent and treasure to RTSWS to reach more girls across the US and Canada.

This month, we give thanks to our VOLUNTEERS who teach our curriculum from the investment firms that partner with us, as well as to the CHAMPION TEACHERS who recruit our students at their schools.
Today, we want to honor one particular volunteer, Alicia Tran, Business Strategy & Reporting Associate at Invesco, and a RTSWS Lead Volunteer at Midtown High School in Atlanta. Thank you, Alicia, for everything you give to RTSWS!

“I firmly believe that financial literacy is rarely taught yet so critical! In tackling this challenge, the RTSWS program has done a phenomenal job pairing students with industry mentors. Over the last couple years I’ve gotten to see the same students’ aspirations evolve as they continue to learn more about college, careers, and the opportunities ahead.
RTSWS creates a safe environment for students to ask questions that perhaps their parents or peers don’t have the answer to. As a result, our volunteers are not only teachers but also friends and confidants.”
