It's Time for the
Annual Compliance Review

All employees and volunteers are asked to complete the annual Policy & Procedure Acknowledgement, Workplace Violence Prevention Review, and Title IX/Sexual Harassment Review. In addition, all UUP-represented employees must complete a review of the Clery Act  module.
Please remember that these reviews must be completed each calendar year, so even if you completed them at any time during 2022, you will need to participate in the compliance review for 2023.
Policy and Procedures Acknowledgement
When you log on to my.newpaltz.edu, you will see the annual “Policies & Procedures, Employment Resources, and Important Information Acknowledgement Statement.” This includes a listing of current policy information, a link to the Policies & Procedures web page where you can review the related documents and web pages, and a link for you to download a policy document to keep as a reference. 
After reviewing the information, click on the checkbox at the bottom of the screen, next to "I acknowledge that I have received this information."
*** Please note that if you would like to review any of these policies before you sign, you have the option of skipping this step for now and reviewing the policies at a later time before selecting the acknowledgement checkbox. ***
Workplace Violence Prevention, 
Title IX/Sexual Harassment, and Clery Act

All New York State employees are required to complete the Workplace Violence Prevention Review and the Title IX/Sexual Harassment Review every calendar year. This includes all full-time and part-time faculty, staff, CAS and RF employees on campus, and volunteers.
Additionally, all UUP-represented employees must complete the Clery Act Review.
We will register all employees for these online modules. You will receive an email for each module, which will include instructions on accessing the modules and completing the related quizzes. Your completion will be recorded in the training website within 24 hours [note that completion of some of the modules does not register immediately].
  • If you prefer to attend classroom-based sessions for the Workplace Violence Prevention Review and Title IX/Sexual Harassment, we will be offering both on May 24 and will open registration at a later date.
  • If you have questions or if you do not receive the notification emails for the required modules by March 24, please contact us at employeetraining@newpaltz.edu.
  • Please include your full first and last names (do not use a nickname) and your email address on the quizzes -- we need this information to track completion. Each module will take about 30-45 minutes. 
  • You do not need to send us your quiz results but you should retain the copy that is emailed to you in case we need it for verification. The system will submit your results to the Employee Training mailbox. 
NOTE: If you are unable to review the quizzes due to accessibility issues, please send an email to employeetraining@newpaltz.edu and we can provide them to you in a Word document.
Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (CETC)
We will continue to offer both classroom-based and remote sessions of the new Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (CETC), which is required for all employees as of 2023. These will be advertised via email and in the Digest.
