WeCOPE: Build Positive Habits to Better Manage Stress
Life can be stressful—but you don't have to navigate it alone. WeCOPE (Connecting with Our Positive Emotions) is a free, six-week virtual program designed to help adults build practical skills for managing stress and improving overall well-being.
Based on the research of Dr. Judith Moskowitz, WeCOPE teaches evidence-based strategies that have been shown to reduce stress and depression, increase positive emotions, and support healthier daily habits. Participants will practice 11 simple coping skills, including gratitude, self-compassion, mindfulness, goal setting, labeling emotions, acts of kindness, and more.

Rent SMART: Build the Skills for Successful Renting
Whether you're renting for the first time or looking to strengthen your knowledge as a tenant, Rent SMART can help. This free, three-session workshop series provides practical information on understanding leases, communicating with landlords, budgeting, maintaining a rental home, and knowing your rights and responsibilities as a renter.

July 16: Play Their Way! The Power of Child-Led Play. Play helps us learn and build relationships. Learn why play matters for kids. Ideal for parents of 0-8-year-olds, but all parents are welcome.
August 20: Supporting Mental Health and Stronger Connections in the Digital World. Screens are a part of everyday life for families today. We’ll explore how families can use technology in thoughtful ways that support connection, learning, and mental health.

Learn About Solar Development in Wisconsin
As solar energy continues to expand across Wisconsin, communities, local officials, and landowners are faced with important decisions. UW–Madison Extension is offering a series of free educational webinars this July to help participants better understand solar development, local regulations, and land leasing opportunities.

July 8 | Model Solar Ordinance & Regulation
Learn what local governments can and cannot regulate when it comes to solar development. This webinar will introduce guidance for Wisconsin communities and a model solar zoning ordinance to support informed local decision-making.

Learn how to make confident, informed decisions when considering solar leasing opportunities. This session will walk through key elements of solar lease agreements, including common contract terms, payment structures, land use considerations, and project responsibilities.

|
This summer, Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire Counties are joining forces to host Tri-County Cloverbud Day Camps on July 13, 14, and 15!
Designed for 4-H Cloverbuds (grades K–2), these camps will take youth on an exciting exploration of a different ecosystem each day. Through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, games, and new friendships, Cloverbuds will discover the wonders of the world around them.
Youth are welcome to attend one, two, or all three days—every camp offers a unique experience!

August 4 | Cattle Feeders On-Farm Workshop
Join us for an on-farm workshop featuring a tour of a new monoslope feedlot barn. Learn from industry experts about chute-side cattle management, livestock handling and facility design, and feed management strategies to support animal health and production.

| August 18 | High Oleic Soybean Workshop
Discover the benefits of growing and feeding high oleic soybeans (HOSB). This workshop will cover best practices for production, storage, dairy ration formulation, economics, and on-farm roasting. The day includes educational presentations followed by an afternoon farm tour, providing practical information to help producers make informed and profitable decisions. Registration coming soon!
